Money Wise UK works primarily with financial planning firms, providing independent consultancy across areas including retirement planning, compliance, Consumer Duty, investments, operations, marketing and business development.
Fees will depend on the nature and scope of the work required. The following provides a guide for new clients.
Ongoing Consultancy
£600 per day
A consultancy day is based on up to 7 hours.
Ongoing consultancy is designed for firms that want regular support, challenge and an external perspective across different areas of their business.
The scope and frequency of work will be agreed at the outset and can evolve as the needs of the business change.
One-Off Specialist or Project Work
From £750 per day
This applies to standalone projects, specialist assignments or work requiring a greater level of research, preparation or delivery within a defined timeframe.
Where appropriate, a fixed project fee may be agreed instead of a daily rate.
Fund and Investment Reviews
No fixed charge
Money Wise UK publishes independent fund, investment and retirement solution reviews which are made freely available.
Reviews are undertaken on a case-by-case basis, subject to relevance, available time and whether I believe the review will be useful to financial planning firms.
There is no guarantee that a requested fund or solution will be reviewed.
Where a review is undertaken without charge, an optional contribution towards the work through Buy Me a Coffee is always appreciated.
Payment or contribution does not influence the conclusions of any review.
Money Wise UK Podcast
For guests invited to participate in the Money Wise UK Podcast, there is normally no participation fee.
I may ask for the direct cost of external editing and production to be covered. This would typically be approximately £100–£200, depending on the episode.
An optional contribution through Buy Me a Coffee is also appreciated and helps support the production of freely available Money Wise UK content.
Podcast appearances are offered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to available time and suitability for the Money Wise UK audience.
Commissioned Podcast Episodes
Where a business specifically asks Money Wise UK to produce a podcast or dedicated episode, fees start from:
£400 plus external editing or production costs.
The final cost will depend on the scope, preparation and production required.
